What we do
The ERDF EDUCATE
The Educational Technology Exchange - EDUCATE 2.0 Programme is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) which is delivered in a unique partnership between F6S, BESA, and EDUCATE Ventures Research Ltd.
The ERDF EDUCATE 2.0 Programme promotes excellence in the EdTech community by providing training and mentoring to support and promote the use of evidence-informed EdTech. Our research-focused accelerator, based on the Golden Triangle, bridges the gaps between EdTech designers and developers, researchers in education and EdTech, and users, to ensure that EdTech products live up to their promises.
Shock to the System:
Lessons from Covid-19
During the multiple Covid-19 lockdowns in the UK, we ran surveys on the use of technology in education, both in schools and at home, determining the extent to which the education ecosystem had withstood the upheaval of traditional modes of teaching and learning. Our report below contains vital findings on the state of education and recommendations on proofing it against further shocks.
The Shock to the System reports consist of two large reports and their appendices, including a short 4-page summary with several recommendations.
